Meet Anushka and Arushi.

At just 8 years old, Anushka wrote and self-published the award-winning children’s book My Magic Mirror, a story that celebrates confidence, kindness, and believing in yourself. Recently, she stopped by the Gifts of Love office with her sister Arushi—no slouch herself, having written her first book at the remarkable age of 5(!)—to donate a portion of the sales from their books to support our neighbors in need.

Their visit was a powerful reminder that generosity has no age limit. Through their creativity and hard work, these two sisters are already using their voices to make a meaningful impact in their community.

Proceeds from their books help ensure families served by Gifts of Love have access to nutritious food and essential daily necessities—support that makes a real difference for children and parents alike.

We are incredibly grateful to Anushka and Arushi for sharing not only their stories, but their hearts. Their compassion and initiative inspire us—and we hope they inspire others to find their own ways to give back.
