USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive Delivers Over 9,200 Pounds of Food for Gifts ofLove

A huge thank you tothe USPS letter carriers and the generous residents of Avon and Simsbury for supporting this year’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, more than 9,240 pounds of food were collected to help support local individuals and families facing food insecurity.

This year’s donations included:

• Avon: 3,515 pounds
• Simsbury: 5,725 pounds

The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive continues to be one of the largest single-day food drives in the country, and we are so grateful to everyone who took part by leaving donations for their postal carriers to collect.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the USPS teams, volunteers, and community members who helped make this effort such a success. Your generosity helps ensure local families have access to nutritious food and essential support throughout the year.
